Factoria Childrens Museum

Yesterday was the neighborhood garage sale, and Kim was the hosting house for about 6 different families garage sales…that being said all the kids (triplets + Ryan) wanted to “go play outside”.  I quickly realized staying home probably wasn’t going to work very well.  Luckily Amy came over to sell some stuff and I talked her into helping me take the kids out.  Jaime also was eager to get her girls out of the house, so we made the plan to head to the Factoria Childrens Museum.  The kids all had a great time, played really hard, and were great listeners!  We all had a great time!

After playing at the childrens museum, we headed out to lunch.  The kids needed to run off more energy so we let them take off running full speed ahead (poor lady in the left photo, seams a bit overwhelmed!).  The kids had a lot of fun chasing each other around the nearly empty mall!  Luckily, they ran off enough energy to sit and have lunch!

We had a yummy (kid friendly) lunch at The Old Country Buffett!  Highly recommend for anyone with small kids!  Food is not bad (definitely not gourmet, but hey, it works) and you can get it right away…all you can eat!  Plus dessert!  People gave Jaime & I crazy looks when we both took turns filling plates for the kids.  I took about 6 full grilled cheese sandwiches, cleaning out the restaurant and Jaime had a HUGE plate and a half of macaroni and cheese.  Jaime said she felt like telling people “yeah, I’m training for an eating competition” LOL!  We made a mess (especially around Emmalee) the photo above was taken towards the beginning of our meal when the table was still fairly clean!  However, we were in and out in about 30 minutes!  So that made for happy patrons, I’m sure!

Thanks Amy for coming along even though you were childless today, and thanks Jaime for lending us your membership card to get us all in the museum for FREE!!  What a fun day we all had!
