Trick-Or-Treating

We did ALL the Halloween festivities today, so I’ll have to break it into a couple of posts!  Thought I’d start with the fun trick-or-treating photos!
We all went down to trick-or-treat in Duvall with Amy & her girls plus our fabulous family!  Camryn & Madison had a lot of fun going from store to store collecting candy!  Jordyn & Emma weren’t quite sure what was going on but were in good spirits!

Poor Madison after we went trick-or-treating spiked a fever of 103.6deg, so she missed going out tonight.  She is so miserable and it’s so unfair that she had to get sick on Halloween.  I hope she’ll be feeling better tomorrow.

But not just the kids had fun….my parents & Aunt Sue joined in on the fun….kinda embarrassing isn’t it!!

Of course the Harrington’s came for a visit!  This was the first years the triplets actually went out at night!  Here they are as adorable Super Hero’s!  Jack was freaked out when he first came up to the door because of all the people and was trying to get behind Mark but as soon as we pulled out the candy he was right in the middle of it!  Sophie was an adorable Prom Queen!

And of course the other triplets stopped by too!  Here are Melissa, Angelique & Kennedy!  I can’t believe how big these girls are!!

Stay tuned tomorrow for some pumpkin carving pictures!!

Cold

How original is that title?  But I have a nasty head cold, I cant breathe, i only wish my nose was running and not just clogged!  But I can't complain to much at least I don't have Swine Flu which is going around like crazy!!  I'm going tomorrow to get my H1N1 flu shot so I hopefully can avoid it because from what I have heard it's hitting people hard, fast and a lot of people right here where I live!

I would rather have a cold anyday then have the flu!  So I guess I'll shut-up now and try to get some rest!

TGI...Thursday!

I think it's safe to say this has been the worlds longest week for me in a long time!  I don't think it helped that I only worked Monday (and tomorrow) and then had a big test on Wednesday that I have been cramming studying for!  On top of all that I woke up yesterday with a nasty head cold and very achy.  I don't know if it's coincidental to me getting my flu shot becaues the pharmasist did say I could be sore the next few days or I have what my mom has had this week.  Reguardless I've felt gross the last couple of days!  Muddled through yesterday and successfully took my test and attended the RS Presidency Meeting!

Today I had planned to go up to Camano to hang out and decided even though I wasn't feeling 100% (okay really not even at 50%) I wasn't going to miss the visit!  Luckily today the boys had school and Alec worked, so it was just Julia, myself and the girls.  We hung out and played for a couple hours and then all four of us took a 2 hour nap!  After nap we went to the boys' Halloween party at school and then everyone had a doctors appointment for flu shots.  Julia let me pick where we went to dinner and of course I chose my favorite the OLIVE GARDEN!  It was yummy....their breadsticks and salad are to die for!!

Back to work tomorrow, but it shuold be a fairly laid back day.  I'm not feeling great, so I don't plan on doing anything overly strenuous but hanging out and letting the kids crawl over me while I try to lay on the floor and rest HAHA...wishful thinking I know!  But tomorrow night we're carving pumpkins and then Halloween is on Saturday!!  Oh and Auntie Susie is in town, so I can't wait to see her!!

Not sure if I mentioned this but....YAY tomorrow is Friday!

Excited for my new calling

I was just called as the Relief Society Secretary!!  I'm so excited to be working with Lucy M., Alisha W. and Jen L. again!  We had our first presidency meeting tonight and it was really interesting to hear all that actually goes on behind the scenes!  I'm definitely excitedfor this calling!  I get to do a lot of list making and organization...2 of my favorite things!!  Do I mention I'm excited?

Flu Shots

Alex & I got our seasonal flu shots tonight at Safeway.  Hoping that this weekend I'll be able to get my swine flu vaccine.  I know that for me getting flu shots are very important, but I understand that everyone is entiled to their own opinions...but for me I'm getting the flu shot and the swine flu vaccine!  I'd rather be safe then sorry!!

What are your thoughts on the seasonal flu shot and the swine flu vaccine?

Finger Painting

The kids were overly crabby today, so I decided to get out the finger paint I’d been holding onto for just the right moment!  Camryn came over with her mommy and sister to join in the fun too!  Nate, Gabbi and Camryn jumped right in, Cody & Jack wanted nothing to do with it.  Jack in the end decided to join in the fun and did some painting but was very worried about how ‘dirty’ he was.

I taped down wrapping paper upside down and taped it down onto the table – so the kids were just able to paint right on the paper.  Plus, clean-up was super easy!  I just rolled up the paper and threw it in the garbage!  We played with the finger paints and instead of paint brushes we used our hands and other household items! *Items included: sponges, corks, playdo cookie cutters, q-tips, and forks

Is Nate bleeding or did he paint himself in the bottom right picture ;) Don’t worry it’s just paint, but I thought it was kind of funny!  My heart did drop when I first looked over at him and I thought he was bleeding!

The painting went much better then I could have imagined!  The kids really enjoyed it and it wasted a good hour of crying, whining and fighting!!  Plus, I got some fun pictures to blog!

Punkin’ Pickin’

Today I went back to the The Plant Farm, but this time I went with Jaime & her girls, Amy & her girls and Brandi!!  Once again everyone had a great time – and we managed to beat the rain!  It was very chilly, but it wasn’t raining so we can’t complain to much!!

Now for the pictures, thanks Brandi & Amy for sharing your pictures with me!!
