O Christmas Tree

Today we went to the Christmas Tree farm in search of the perfect 8-10ft tall Christmas Tree.  It was freeeeezing cold outside, the temp was hovering right around freezing.  We didn’t last to long before we were cold and had to go home!!  Luckily it didn’t take us to long to find the perfect tree, especially when the owner told us it was on sale :)

After we got home, we set it up to decorate it!  Grandma Plane is visiting us this week, so it was fun to have her with us while decorating our tree.  It was a big family event, our family LOVES the holidays and decorating!

The tree was 9’ tall, it took our ladder and stairs to get to the top!

Emma’s first time she hung an ornament…she preferred to knocking the balls off more than hanging them!

Placing the star on the top of the tree!!

Emmalee had fun crawling around under the tree pulling off the ornaments that Madison had so precisely placed across the bottom branches of the tree!  The lights were also fun!!  I think we’ll be moving all those ornaments and lights up a few feet now that they’re gone!
