Christmas Break is Here + a very busy day!!!

I just submitted by final assignment for stats - wahooooo I am now officially on Christmas Break, it is such a great feeling!! Thanks for all the 'good lucks' and support I have been given the past quarter, it's much appreciated!!

Day with the Triplets
I got to work today because Kim had some Christmas Shopping to do today. It was really fun to be back and with the babies! Gabrielle is talking now - she is so cute, she likes to say "Nate" but it sounds more like "Neigh"! The other new big thing in their home is CLIMBING and they are obsessed with the bar stools. Every time I'd turn around Gabbi would be climbing onto the table. The boys aren't nearly as quick as Gabbi is but they are getting faster! Jaime & Madison came over to hang out with us and Sophia had a half day today so she was home about 12:45pm. Jaime had to take Alex to the hospital tonight to volunteer...but that was the beginning of her evening!

Pre-Term Labor for Jaime
Jaime apparently starting having contractions on the way to the hospital to drop Alex off and decided she should go on in and just get checked because she just didn't feel right. It's a good thing she did because once they got her hooked up and on a 'non-stress test', she was having contractions and they were 3 minutes apart. They then sent her down to Labor & Delivery to be more closely monitored. But luckily after a shot of Terbutaline (labor inhibiting drug) and an IV they were able to stop her contractions and she was able to go home.

She is now on moderate bedrest and can't pick up anything weighing more then 20lbs until she delivers (that includes Maddie). The doctor also said that if she goes into labor again after Wednesday (when she is officially 35 weeks), they will not stop it and she will just deliver the baby. The doctors feel confident that the baby will be fine and would most likely only have to spend a few days in the NICU. Keep your fingers crossed that Emmalee stays put for a few more weeks...the beginning of January would be great!!

Dinner with the Grays
Trisha & James came to visit tonight on their way up to Canada. I hadn't seen Trisha in 2.5 years so it was great to get to catch up!! We (along with the Richey's, May's, Jenkin's, Cardin's & the Bostron's) all met and ate dinner at Ixtapa!! We had a great time, I'm so happy I went!! Wish they would come up and visit more...and next time bring their kids!!

Snow?
Rumor has it this weekend we're gonna have snow...will it happen who knows. Last I heard the snow should hit around 1am tonight. I have heard everything from none, to dusting's, to several inches to even a couple feet. I'm guessing very little but who knows!!

Happy Friday...Madison, Jaime & I are going to 'big sister school tomorrow' so stay tuned for that tomorrow! Plus I've been working on a Christmas Tree decorating movie that hopefully I'll have done tomorrow and can be posted!

Done! Done! Done! ... Well Atleast 98% Done!

I completed my stats final today and all i gotta say is boy am I happy it was 'open friend'. It was so freakin' hard!! Thankfully I sat with a group of people that seemed to know what they were doing or at least faked it really well! So now both of my finals are DONE!! It is a big relief. I have one assignment that my stats lab group all did together that I have edited and now my other two lab partners need to edit, so I'm just waiting to get it back from them before I can submit it. Hopefully tomorrow it will be returned to me so I can submit and be done for the quarter!!

I did however get my gen-chem grade and i got ... *drum roll please* a B-!! Yay I am soooo happy and soooooo relieved!!

I just got to get that one assignment turned in so I can officially be on Christmas Vacation!

Chem Final Done -- Stats Final TOMORROW!

I have now taken my chemistry test and am DONE! The test itself was pretty hard, but I felt prepared for it and took my time answering the questions. It was 60 multiple choice questions, so those can be both good and bad. Good in that your guaranteed a 1/4 shot of getting it right...bad if you can't narrow down some answers! Not sure when the results will be posted...but my fingers are crossed.

My stats final is tomorrow morning at 10:30am. I'm not overly worried about that exam its 'closed book' but 'open neighbor' and we can have 1 page of notes with equations on it - another words we can work with people. For the midterm I took the test on my own then when I was done 'confirmed' my answers with a peer to make sure I got the right answers. My stats prof doesn't believe in tests, but its required to have tests she must give them. She keeps telling us 'don't worry it's just a test'. She also said that she doesn't want to see us back in the class again and will do everything in her power to get us to pass!

This time tomorrow...I will be on Christmas Vacation - WAHHOOO!!!

24 hours from now...

I'll be done with my gen-chem final!! Yay!! I figured out my grade and if I do happen to fail that final tomorrow (NO I DON'T PLAN ON DOING THAT) I still should pass the class, so that's a HUGE sigh of relief!!

Working through all my passed homework assignments now and things are coming back to me fairly easily, so that also is a sigh of relief!! I will study the rest of the afternoon and then meet Brandi for dinner around 6ish then back to SPU to study some more and wait for the study session with my prof tonight at 8pm. Last night the study session went until 945pm and I was able to get a lot of questions answered so that was nice :)

24 hours...I can do it!! Then I just have my stats final - but that won't I'm not worried about much at all. All I really need to do to prepare for that is go over my notes and then make an equations sheet for the exam. So in 48hours from now I'll be on Christmas Vacation!!

2 Days Till Final......

I'm in the home stretch...it's Monday evening and my chem final is wednesday at 10:30am and my stats final is Thursday at 10:30am. I am so ready for the quarter to be over...I am totally exahusted and ready to be able to relax and not think about school for awhile. In 4 days I will be DONE DONE DONE and that sounds so good right now!

I've been at school since about 10am this morning basically studying the whole time (except for about 3 hours of class) and tonight from like 8-9:30pm there is a class study session with my prof so I am staying for that. Tomorrow I plan on doing the same thing as well.

...back to studying I go...3 days...I can do it....I think...

17 three year olds + Small Room = BIG HEADACHE

Today at church all of the leaders for the Senior Nursery were gone, so I pinch-hit and was the only 'real' nursery leader in the class today. So it was me, my three subs and 17 three year olds that I hardly know (since I'm normally in the Junior Room) as we try to survive the two hours together!

The 1.5hours went fine - playtime and snack went fairly smoothly - but we ran into problems when snack was over and we were reading books. A few kids started going crazy which then escalated to more and more. We then had to split them up for Lesson & Music and at that point we just lost control!! I had the lesson today (found out about 11am this morning) so I quickly through together a lesson to teach. The first group I had was just crazy, they wouldn't sit still, kept running around, talking, hitting, crawling under the tables, etc. I tried to keep their attention but it was hard! The second group was a bit calmer and it was a little bit easier to keep their attention. After that time it was already a few minutes to 4pm, so we had them color and then prayed that their parents would be there on time!

I LOVE being in nursery, but days like today make me just want to go home and go to sleep!! It definitely is a work out, but very worth it!

Girls Day Out & 100th Blog Post!

Today Julia, Kim, MacKenzie & I all went out to lunch at a Chinese/Japanese/Thai restaurant in Stanwood called The Chatterbox. Kim got me to try Pad See-Yew and Julia was highly impressed (and proud!) of me for trying something new! Pad See-Yew is pan-fried flat noodles with broccoli, black soy beans and eggs. It actually wasn't that bad at all! It reminded me a lot of stir fry. However, I got to say the noodles looked a lot like brains and that kinda grossed me out! But it was yummy!

After lunch I talked them (okay it wasn't that hard) into going with me to get my nails done. So I got a fill, one of my nails has already broke...grrrr, and Julia & Kim both got pedicures. In true Cori fashion I helped introduce Kenzie to the wonderful world of spa-pedis! We took off her pants so she didn't get them soaked and then she had fun trying to SIT and PLAY IN the tub! It was tooo adorable! I also painted her toe-nails when she was done playing in the water! She had a great time!!

I had a great time today, and am very honored to be invited to come and get to go and spend time with Julia & Kim, since Kim is only in town for a short period of time!! It was a really fun day!

Tonight we decorated Grandma's Christmas tree! I took video & pictures of Zak & my dad trying to put the tree up, it was pretty hilarious! Not to mention the tree decorating and overall silliness that my family is! It's true we are all a bunch of weirdos!

And in case you didn't notice....tonight's post is my 100th. My first myspace post was on July 5th, so that means I hit 100 posts in just over 5months - crazy! See it's true I do have a big mouth with LOTS to say!!

Fun in Camano

Today I came up to Camano to meet Julia's brother Jason, her sister-in-law Kim and their adorable almost 3year old daughter Paige. We went to Jungle Playland this afternoon and had fun playing in the tunnels, running through the blow up maze thing and hung out.

Tonight we came home and had a yummy dinner that Julia made and then we just hung out and talked...and still are! Tomorrow we may either go to the Kangaroo Farm and/or out to lunch just the girls it's still up in the air, but either would be fine.

I'm really tired tonight, I should get to bed. I'm sharing a bed with Aiden since Jason, Kim & Paige are all in my room. so hopefully Aiden sleeps well and isn't to wiggly! Saturday tomorrow, yipppppeeeeee!

Cori's Ultimate WISH LIST

Why is that when asked to come up with a Christmas List it is so hard to do on the spot? And yet all year you think 'I should ask for that for Christmas'? My grandma and mom have been bugging me to get them my Christmas List ASAP. So instead of going through the toy catalogue like I used to do (okay I did do that as well!), I visited http://www.amazon.com/ to help me figure out my wish list.

A good majority of the things I am WISHING for, there is almost no way of me getting one - but its still fun to wish...and also hope that I've been good this year and Santa will surprise me! Here is Cori's Ultimate Wish List. Feel free to purchase whatever you want for me, it's also okay to substitute for a better (or cheaper) version - lol!! All-in-all this is just for fun and not the one I plan on sending to my grandma or mom!

I LOVE my North Face jacket I already have, but would love love love a lighter weight one!! I really like this one with the hood and a size medium would be perfect!

Julia has one of these Xyron Design Runner and it actually prints on RIBBON! Not to mention can make borders and print right on other things too!

I just recently started turning my videos into real videos and would love a nice-small and easy to use digital camcorder

And don't forget that I will need an SD card for that camcorder!!

There is no purse brand nicer then Coach and I'd be happy with any one - a girl can dream can't she?!! Or even maybe a Cooch mag (haha!) would be good too!

KSwiss tennis shoes are the most comfortable tennis shoes around! Both of the pairs I have right now are getting really old and warn...time for a new pair! Oh and I wear a size 7.5!

Who doesn't just love a set of sharpies?? Not to mention getting every color!! I LOVE sharpies!

Yes, I'm a dork and asking for a TI-84 PINK Graphing Calculator for Christmas! I need a 'real' calculator for school and well...pink just is my favorite color!

And since all my other friends (yes, I'm using that excuse) have a web-cam, I need one too!

A new digital camera would be nice and this NEW Canon Powershot SX10 IS would be just fine!! Or any Canon camera for that matter would work :)

Other Miscellanious Items:
Clothes, Clothes, Clothes (tops: Mediums, pants: 4Longs, skirts/dresses: medium)
Board Games (SET game, Bananagrams & Qwirkle all look like fun)
Oasis Nails Gift Certificate
Someone to fix/provide fixing part to fix my car charger outlet in my car!
Money is always nice
Gift Cards too!
