Jump-sations

I went back to Sky High Sports today, third time in about a month!  It is the perfect place to take little kids to burn off some energy and get a bit of a work out!  Jaime had her final (hallelujah)dental appointment today, so Alex the girls and I met up with Brandi & Zidan for an hour of fun!

Okay, so that was a lot of fun!!  If you have never been there, I HIGHLY recommend it!  It’s fun for everyone!!

Getting my hair cut tomorrow morning, still no idea what I’m going to do!  Need to figure that out!  And incase you have lost count …

 

Splurges

Okay, lets face it – I really don’t need anything.  Yes it pains me to say those words, but it’s true.  I’m a pretty spoiled person, from other people and we’ll just say I treat myself pretty well also!  With that being said, I have tried hard the last few months to not buy so much, and *gasp* do laundry instead of buying new clothes.  But with the pending cruise, I decided to splurge and buy a few things that I really didn’t need.

 

First thing I purchased were these delicious heals! 

 

 

 

Then I purchased this adorable coat.  Trust me, it looks 100x better on, then it does on the hanger.  The hanger doesn’t do it justice!

 

 

 

Then tonight, I was complaining to Brandi that I couldn’t find my camera, and really wanted to buy a new one.  Next thing I know she’s at the store asking me which one I want to buy.  So now I’m the proud owner of a new camera and 2gig memory card. 

The last splurge I need to make is on a good pair of sunglasses.  My Grandma (yes my Grandma) just bought an adorable pair of COACH sunglasses, I’m very jealous….but don’t think (as much as I want to) can justify that purchase….

 

Packing – Part I – Piles, Piles & More Piles

Yesterday, I started the packing process for the cruise.  I started on Friday when I completed 6 loads of laundry, then it was onto putting clothes away and trying to figure out what to take!  I got through the first 3 steps of the Cori Packing Process.

How many more will there be??  I’m not sure!  So stay tuned….

 

Fire Station Fun!

Jaime & I took the girls to visit Alec at the fire station today.  I left my charger at Alec & Julia’s this week, so he brought it to work and we picked it up.  Madison has been obsessed with fire trucks, because “my friend Alec is a fire fighter, he drives a fire truck”, however Madison wants NOTHING to do with Alec!  It’s quite the love-hate relationship the two of them have!

 

My favorite fire station memory would have to be a couple years ago, I brought Aiden, Connor & MacKenzie down to visit.  MacKenzie was brand new and so Alec was showing her off.  The boys ran ahead and the next thing we know the fire alarm goes off, yes the twins set the fire alarm off at the fire station.  The funniest part was NONE of the firefighters could figure out what the sound was!  (Not very bright huh!) . They didn’t realize it until they got the call.  What morons –ha!

Okay, so after calling Alec and his friends morons, I guess I should be nice and say thanks for letting us come visit!  Madison talked about it all afternoon!

Such Sweet Sleep

After a week of non-stop working, last night I finally got a nice nights sleep.  I went to bed about 1am and woke up around 8am.  I was NOT going to get up at that time, I had waited so long to sleep in, so I fell back to sleep and woke up again at 12:10pm!  It felt so good to just sleep!  However, getting up so late meant that the rest of the day went super fast!  But it's still nice to finally start to catch up on my sleep!  That's one thing I am looking forward to in ...

Baby’s & Beaches

Kim Alvarado had her beautiful baby girl early this morning!  Congratulations Kim and Pedro!  I cannot wait until I get to go and meet her!  Hopefully tomorrow!!

Today, Jaime and I took her girls and the Munro kids upto Jungle Playland and then down to the beach.  The weather was BEAUTIFUL today, Madison actually ran around at the beach in a t-shirt.  She refused to put a coat on!  (Yes, it was that warm!).   We had fun at Jungle Playland and took some photos, but we had a lot more fun at the beach.  Not to mention CHEAPER!

Okay, so apparently I went a little ‘click’ happy with MacKenzie & Annika!!  They were so cute playing together today!  Plus I thought some of the photos of them would make a REALLY adorable layout!!

What a fun day we had today!  Like I always say, I can’t wait until I go back again!!

 

Fastest Ebay Shipment!

I'm so happy to announce that my new laptop battery arrived either today or yesterday!  I purchased it on Tuesday afternoon, and it's here!  Normally ebay item's ship quickly but take forever to arrive, not to mention electronics, those normally take FOREVER to arrive!  I'm still waiting on Alex's camera screen and hopefully that will be here by monday.  Then I can breathe a sigh of relief I got everything before the cruise!!

My battery is charging right now, so I'll have to wait until the morning to see if it works.  If it doesn't I'll be very bummed!  So I'll just have to wait and see!

Up in Camano tonight.  Julia & Alec needed a sitter for a few hours tomorrow, so I came up to help.  Gonna be a busy day though, have the Munro's tomorrow during the day and then working at Kim's tomorrow night.  But it will be fun, and did I mention I could use the money for a trip I'm going on in ....

wahoooooo I cannot wait!!

P.S. Go Kim Loeffler Alvarado Go!  Little Emilia is on her way!  Kim was just admitted to the hospital and is 4cm!!  That adorable baby will be here soon!  I cannot wait to meet her and get my baby fix!!

I'm Makin' A List...and checkin' it twice....

I'm down to just 2 weeks, {2 weeks!!!} until we take off for our cruise!!  It is almost coming to fast (not that I am complaining), but I am in no way ready to go!  I have so much still to do!  So like my title says I'm makin' a list and checkin' it twice, not looking for the naughty or nice, but hoping I don't forget something important at home!!  I haven't made an official list yet, but really should do that tomorrow, but am making progress none-the-less.  Let's see...

  Purchased a new battery for my laptop so I can blog while I'm gone.  Let's face it, I cannot go 2 weeks without internet access!!

  Purchased a new screen for Alex's camera after I dropped and broke it!  Figured I'd never live it down if I didn't get it fixed before we left!

  Bought 2 new pairs of jeans.  One nice evening dressier pair and then a normal everyday pair

I still have a lot to do, like I need to buy sunglasses and a nice jacket to wear, because it gets super cold at night during dinner and the shows.  I cannot enjoy myself if I am cold, so a coat/sweater is a must.  I also need to finish (okay really start) my laundry.  It would be so much easier to just take a trip to the laundrymat like I did HERE, however I need to save money for my trip, so I won't be going this time.  Thinking about bringing some laundry to Kim's tomorrow :-)  Regaurdless it's really time to buckle down and make a list so I don't forget something important!!!

"Are You Twins?"

Yesterday we had BEAUTIFUL weather, so the triplets and I took a walk down to the park to meet Alex who was also babysitting.  The boys were playing on the tractor climber and there was an older kid playing on it as well.  Alex and I were hanging a few feet away when we heard the funniest thing....

Other Boy: "are you guys twins?"

Jack: "nope"

Other Boy: "yes, you are twins!"

Jack: "nope"

Other Boy: "you guys look just alike, you have to be twins"

Jack: "NO!"

The funny thing is, I don't think Jack had any idea what the boy was even talking about when he instisted that they were "twins", or does Jack know he's what a twin or triplet it, let alone that he is a triplet. But reguardless, Jack was insistant that NO THEY WERE NOT TWINS. Alex and I giggled because....well.....Jack was right!!

Day 6 - More WII

We played more WII this evening.  Tonight I played the guitar and did pretty good, I got 87% one time, granted it was on "Super Easy" and Brett played on "Expert" and got about the same!!  I may need to get one of these, they are sooooo much fun!!  My shoulder however is k-i-l-l-i-n-g me! 

Off to finish up my ice cream and then finish cleaning up the kitchen and getting the oldest three kids to bed.  Tonight I will be sleeping in my own bed :-D yay!!
