Happy Hump Day!!
Today we celebrated MacKenzie’s 2nd birthday!! She had an adorable LADY BUG themed party! Alex & I came up yesterday and started decorating and finished with about 15minutes to spare today! Decorations included more than 200 balloons, we blew about about 150 with a helium tank…that’s a lot of balloons, but the house and outside looked awesome! Not to mention the adorable cupcakes that Julia made! Alex & Julia made the little lady bugs out of marzipan! They looked really cute, not to mention were super tasty!
Here’s some cute picture of the Happy Birthday Girl!
Here are a couple of pictures of Emmalee playing outside! I love the one with her tongue sticking out! She was loving this walker Julia had! She even mastered going backwards and kept backing herself into corners (or people!).
Happy 2nd Birthday MacKenzie!!
Emma got a fun trip to the Evergreen ER today after scaring the crap out of her mom and I by turning blue/purple and feeling ice cold (don’t worry she was breathing just fine…just looked funny). This was a picture of Emma right after she was brought back to her room.
After x-rays, I self diagnosed her with inflamed lungs (I was in the x-ray room and saw the x-rays right as they were taken while Jaime held Emmalee). Guess what, I was right!! The doctor diagnosed her with bronchitis.
Tonight marks the end of another birthday of mine. We went for my annual birthday Mariners game, and am sad to report that the M’s lost miserably to the New York Yankees..booh-hiss!! Even though we lost, we still had a lot of fun!
Dad, Alex, Zak, Jaime, Brandi, Amy & I all went. The game was boring because it we were losing, but there’s nothing better then people watching and eating yummy baseball food! The highlight probably was when a group got escorted out of our section by the Alcohol Enforcement people. It caused quite a scene where we were sitting while they were getting to the bottom of whatever was going on! In the end it looked like a group of people smuggled in Vodka into the Stadium leading to their quick dismissal. I want to know how they were able to get it in the stadium. Amy brought snacks for herself and had an ice pack with it and was questioned at the entrance for “why her bag was cold”. So it amazes me that they were able to get the Vodka in.

Fun game even though we lost!! Thanks everyone for coming and celebrating my birthday (once again) with me!!
I’m still working on the Miley Cyrus Concert post…it has a lot of pictures that I’m trying to put into a montage so it doesn’t take up so much room on my blog! So hopefully tomorrow!!
Wow…I like this font a lot :)
Hopelink, the company my mom works for, and Friends of Youth had their grand opening of their new Valley collaboration of Duvall Place today.
“The project is a partnership between Friends of Youth and Hopelink. The City of Duvall, King County, Washington State, community members and private foundations have helped make it possible. Completed earlier this year, the 11,836-sq. ft. building consists of eight units of housing and 4,200 sq. ft. of office space for a community services center providing mental health counseling and substance abuse treatment, outreach and counseling for at-risk or troubled youth, emergency services, employment services, and adult literacy and English-as-a-second-language classes, among many other offerings.”
For some strange reason my mom insisted I come even though I had triplets and Sophia, I in turn invited Jaime to come with me to help and bring her girls to the chaos. We were supposed to be there to be community support, we were more comic relief then anything!
The Crew having a snack before the program started…not sure what Gabbi is doing!
The triplets (f-b)
Nate, Jack, Gabbi
We had to stay for the ceremony, which meant sitting in a hot parking lot (mid-80*s) in the direct sunlight with 6 tired and crabby kids. They did really well overall, we had lots of licorice and pretzels as bribery to keep them quiet. The triplets started out in the stroller, but quickly wanted out.
Listening intently to the speaker….or at least it appears Jack & Gabbi are!
Me and the kids sitting on the ground listening to the speakers
We made it almost all the way through the ceremony before they started getting antsy. We moved inside and took over one of their conference rooms where they had fun writing/coloring on the white boards. My mom promised the kids cake afterwards, so they were happy when it was done!
When it was over my mom came over and said “I so totally owe you”…still not sure why she’d want us to come!! It was a fun and crazy afternoon, but it’s always worth it to go support a cause that’s important to you!
Last night we had a Girls Night and went to see the Broadway production of WICKED at the Paramount! We purchased the tickets back in February and were very excited the day finally came so we could go! It was a a lot of fun, not to mention the show was amazing! I hate have to admit that “Galinda'” reminded me of myself…very self-centered, but what’s wrong with that?? Apparently the rest of my friends felt them same way Galinda & I lol!
We got to Seattle early and went to dinner at the Daily Grill near the Paramount. We were planning on going to the Spaghetti Factory after, but we decided to be nice and eat before so Alex could get home at a more descent hour since she had to be at school at 6am the next day!
None of us had ever eaten hear before, so we didn’t know what to expect but it had no wait and looked nice, plus it seemed to have ‘normal’ food that we all could agree on! The food was good and on top of it we found out they gave us 15% off because of the theater discount…who knew? It worked well, we got good food, ate early and got a discount…not to mention were still got to the Paramount before they opened it!
The show was awesome, but I think I would have enjoyed the first half better if I didn’t have to pee so bad! Right before it started I decided to run really quick, but was stopped by the usher who told me “if you leave now you will be locked out for the first 9-minutes of the show”. I decided to hold it and just wait!! But by the time they started to drop the curtain for Intermission I was already climbing over everyone to run to the bathroom. I’m happy to announce I made it, plus I got one of the last stalls before the line started! By the time I left the line was already to the stairs!
We had a fun night!!
On Saturday Jaime, Maddie, Emmalee & I went to the Jr. Redwolves Football game at CHS to watch Sophia cheer! She looked adorable all dressed up and cheering!!
Then Madison got into with her poms!
